AI Voice Cloning and Deepfake Scams

AI can now copy familiar voices and create convincing fake audio or video. The safest habit is not trying to spot every fake. It is verifying urgent requests through a separate trusted source.

Tip 1

Do not trust a voice by itself

A caller may sound like a loved one, bank employee, or manager. A familiar voice is no longer enough proof when money or private information is involved.

Tip 2

Verify through another method

Call back using a saved number, the number on your bank card, or a contact record you already trust. Do not use the contact details from the suspicious message.

  • Saved family contact
  • Bank card or statement
  • Past vendor or company record

Tip 3

Treat pressure as a warning sign

Urgency, secrecy, fear of arrest, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wires, payment apps, and bank-detail changes are still major red flags.

Tip 4

Use a two-person rule

For emergency money requests or business bank changes, pause until two trusted people or approvers have checked the request.

Safety Rule

Do not verify a request using the same call, text, email, or video that made the request. Use a separate trusted source.

Remember: A voice, video, email, or caller ID is not enough proof. Pause, verify through a trusted source, and ask a second person before sending money or changing payment details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Titanium Guardian

Our AI is designed to protect privacy while detecting scam risk—not to spy on conversations, sell data, or replace human judgment.

Our software is designed to help protect older adults and families from scams, fraud, and suspicious communication. CallGuard analyzes calls you place or receive through the protected calling experience when that feature is in use—not every call on your phone automatically.

Depending on your settings, the system may analyze call-related signals and portions of a call or live transcript to help detect scam risk.

The goal is not to spy on conversations. The goal is to identify warning signs such as suspicious requests for money, gift cards, passwords, banking information, Social Security numbers, or urgent pressure tactics.

Users and families stay in control of which protection features are turned on.
